The following specifies the policies affecting registration, activation, renewal, placement and presentation of advertising listings and advertisements on the 247onlineNetwork.

AFFILIATED WEBSITES

The 247onlineNetwork has agreements with third-party Business directories to share listing databases in an effort to maximize exposure of our respective customer listings.

Currently, this group includes the following directories:

All sites adhere to the same standard of customer information privacy. 
REGISTRATION

Listings are always listed in the community within which the business resides.  Listing in alternate or additional communities is subject to an UPGRADE.

Registration submissions will be rejected in the following cases:

  • no categories selected
  • no business description
  • NO email address
ACTIVATION

If a new listing registration is approved, Activation of the listing usually occurs within 24 hours.  All features except self editing are activated for Free Listings during the initial evaluation period.

Listings are verified for accurate categorization and geographic placement.  If a listing is submitted in an incorrect community, the listing is moved.

All Listings are activated for a default period of one (1) year.

LISTING RENEWAL

One month prior to expiry, owners of listings will be notified via email of the pending expiry. 

Paid listing owners are provided with an automated process through which they can renew or upgrade their listing.

Free listing owners are also provided with the same options.

Expired listings may be renewed as Free listings at the sole discretion of the 247onlineNetwork.
LISTING PLACEMENT

Precedence: Guaranteed Top of List placement is a paid feature available to Paid Listing owners.  Please contact us to discuss.

Priority: Listing display order is as follows:

  1. Paid listings: Paid Listings are always displayed first. Listings are rotated in sequential order after every Category Listing page display.
  2. Promotional Listings: Listings of this type use the same display format/Policy as Paid Listings but are ALWAYS displayed after Paid Listings.
  3. Free Listings: ***nb: As of 01 Jan 2010 Free listings will be displayed on the second page of every category when there are Paid or Promotional listings in the same category.  Free Listings are displayed after Paid and Promotional listings.  Listings are displayed in a sequential order that is rotated after every display of a category listing page.
GRAPHICAL ADVERTISING

Banners: Banners are displayed at the top of every community page. Banners are sequentially rotated.

Target Ads:Target ads are limited to six(6) ad per page. Ads are rotated in order.  Precedence is a paid option.

Body Ads: Body Ads are large graphical ads that are displayed using the Banner Ad policy.

Third Party Affiliates:  The 247onlineNetwork displays ads from third party affiliate programs such as Google and Yahoo.

 

EMAIL

Periodically, the 247oblineNetwork sends email to listing holders.  These emails are of the following type:

  • Monthly Listing and Banner statistics
  • Policy Changes
  • Service Announcements
  • Special Event Announcements
  • Upgrade Solicitations

These emails are sent to the Business email address of each listing.

FREE listings must have an active email address and must accept these emails for continued listing.  Email bounces or requesting removal from the distribution list will result in delisting.

PAID listings may request removal from the distribution list.
